AIO - Things to know

All about AIO

Vaping is truly a world with countless types of people, playing styles and certainly comes with many different types of devices to suit the user. When first playing, vapers will often choose compact, semi-automatic or fully automatic podsystems. However, after a period of use, the needs of the player will gradually move towards full vape kits, allowing users to learn more about vaping. But what if the pod is too rudimentary and the vape mod is too bulky? That's when AIO kits step in and act as the intersection between the types of devices.

I. What is AIO?

An AIO can be considered a super-cool pod mod or a compact box mod. It has everything users look for in a box mod while still maintaining the neat and pretty look of a pod system. In general, models in the AIO or All-In-One line are vape mods that integrate all accessories into a single, neat body.

II. Advantages of AIO

So it can be seen that the outstanding point of AIO compared to other product lines is that it is more modern than pod mod but at the same time more convenient than box mod. An AIO from a reputable manufacturer in the vape industry is usually in at least one ecosystem. That means that the ability to mix and adjust the flavor of AIO is somewhere close to a classic box mod, very wide. The point that makes more and more people choose AIO sets as an inseparable item when going out is the convenience and luxury. Typical AIOs such as Billet Box or DotAIO, Cthulhu AIO, ... all come with quite a few replacement accessories, especially in the Billet Box line when it can replace from large things like RBA, driptip, doors to the smallest things like buttons or screws inside. Many people like that ability of AIO sets because after all, vape is gradually becoming a fashion item in parallel with a daily nicotine charging tool.

Cthulhu AIO - one of the highly customizable AIOs using Boro chamber

Because AIO is essentially a super “compact” box mod, of course customization is the most important thing to mention. The most notable thing when comparing the two AIOs is the RBA, more precisely the “coil” inside. 100% of AIOs allow users to replace the basic OCC with a hand-wound coil. For example, AIOs that use Boro/Bridge connections like the Cthulhu AIO have a “huge” ability to customize the vapor.

III. Disadvantages of AIO

The only thing that can make a person hesitate when choosing AIO is because they are quite complicated in the preparation stage. To build or change cotton daily for AIO requires a box mod and it must be said that disassembling and assembling RBA, cleaning AIO takes a lot of time. Not to mention that adjusting air-flow for AIO is not like turning the wind ring on RTA, you have to disassemble RBA, sometimes even have to remove the coil to be able to adjust the wind. For most ordinary users, AIO is basically the most complicated type in the vape journey, but for those who are passionate about vaping, such meticulous work that requires carefulness makes them feel like they are spending time on their favorite job. Playing for a long time with AIO sets also shows the love and of course the player's understanding of vaping.
