E-liquid flavors include dessert, fruit, sweet, beverage, chill, menthol, tobacco – there are so many different flavors that choosing the right e-liquid can be a daunting and time-consuming task. And when you do find the perfect flavor, chances are your enjoyment will be ruined if your coil burns out.
If your vape device suddenly emits a pungent, pungent smell, it is possible that the cotton inside the coil has burned out. OCC is usually made from pure cotton that will absorb the e-juice towards the heating element (coil) to vaporize. When there is not enough e-juice for the coil to vaporize, your coil will continue to operate without e-juice. This causes the cotton to dry out, creating a burnt taste that ruins the flavor of your e-juice.

Can I continue to use a burned coil?
Although a burnt coil should be replaced as soon as possible, if you can't replace it right away you can use the method below to clean the coil while waiting for a new coil.
Step One: Soak the Coil
First, remove the coil from the burner, remove the burnt cotton, soak the coil in hot water to remove any dirt stuck on the coil.

If the residue doesn’t come off when you soak it, try adding a little lemon juice or vinegar to the bowl of hot water. However, soaking your coils in lemon or vinegar can affect the flavor of your e-juice later on.
Step three: Dry
Remove the coil from the bowl of water and place it on a flat surface or paper towel to dry. If you want to dry the coil faster, you can use a hair dryer (not recommended).
Step Four: Priming the Coil
