Innokin's groundbreaking battery technology

A new press release from an upcoming conference promises a breakthrough battery technology from manufacturer Innokin. It looks like the release and battery prototype will be announced at ECC 2017 this weekend in Ontario, CA.

The excerpt below was shared by Mountain Oak Vapors CEO Dimitris Agrafiotis, who swears he doesn't know much more than what's been shared below.

Agrafiotis has a pretty close relationship with Innokin, one as a Youtube reviewer, and two as the founder and president of SEVIA USA, an advocacy group formed by China's largest vape manufacturers.

“Our world is based on energy. Technological advances are evidence of evolution that has changed the way we do things. From the beginning, Innokin Technology has been a leader in developing vaporization product technologies for smoking cessation. After years of research, they have made a breakthrough that can change the face of the entire industry. This technological advance is not only applicable to vapes, but can also be applied to many other products in other industries that use rechargeable batteries.

Innokin battery technology will change the way we vape. Proven to be faster charging, longer lasting and safer. This is the Innokin power system. A power solution that not only improves the core of vaping, but also contributes to long-lasting power solutions.

Breaking the standard of rechargeable batteries, Innokin’s new technology is capable of charging batteries at a rate 100 times faster than conventional batteries. This type of battery can withstand high current transfer because it has a core structure that has a lifespan of one hundred times that of conventional batteries. This new technology uses advanced battery chemistry, ensuring safety when running at high intensity.

Sustainable energy is at the heart of the world’s development. Innokin’s battery technology will contribute to a stable, safer, smoke-free future for vaping and more.”

100x faster charging and safe high power products? This could be a game changer not only for vapes, but for most smart products.

We’ve seen recent battery research from Stanford University that promises fireproof batteries, and more exciting news from the creator of lithium-ion batteries about the development of solid-state batteries. But what Innokin is hinting at could be a major step forward in rechargeable battery technology.
