The professor also conducted extensive research on the correlation between switching from cigarettes to vaping and the ability to reduce asthma symptoms in patients.
“In asthma patients, we saw quite large and stable improvements in respiratory symptoms, complication rates and lung function after 6 months of regular and continuous e-cigarette use for 2 years,” Professor Polosa said in an interview last year.
Are electronic cigarettes harmful? The question is gradually being deciphered for everyone.
In addition, he expressed that he and his research team will continue to study the effects of vaping on patients with COPD (Chronic Pulmonary Disease) and diabetes.
