Choose your nicotine level
We often ask what does 12mg or 24mg nicotine mean? It is the amount of nicotine in milligrams, for each ml of E-juice , expressed as mg/ml. Some companies choose to express this parameter as a % for each product, you will see 1.2% instead of 12mg/ml.
0mg/ml Nicotine
This means that there is no nicotine in your eLiquid mixture. Commonly used by non-smokers, quitters, women and Smoke Trickers .
6mg/ml Nicotine
This level of nicotine is the light level. For those who want to feel the smallest amount of nicotine but still enjoy the full flavor of the eLiquid.
12mg/ml Nicotine
A comfortable level for people who like nicotine, but don't want the feeling of vaping too strong. This level is also popular for people who have been light smokers.
18mg/mL Nicotine
This is the standard level of nicotine in a traditional cigarette. Most ex-smokers will accept this level because it delivers the same amount of nicotine as a cigarette. Suitable for people who intend to quit smoking and are trying to get used to vaping .
24mg/mL Nicotine
This is already a high dose of nicotine and is often preferred by cigarette smokers (about a pack a day).
36mg/ml Nicotine
This is the highest amount of nicotine that can be contained in an e-liquid. People who use this level are usually former heavy smokers (meaning more than two packs a day).
When do you know nicotine is too strong for you?
When you inhale, does the back of your throat feel uncomfortably hot? Do you feel a little dizzy or lightheaded after just a few puffs? If any of these apply to you, chances are you’re using a level of nicotine that’s higher than your body can handle. For some people, reducing the nicotine level can help resolve these issues.
Note: in the morning when you wake up you may feel a little dizzy when you first vape, but that is not a symptom of using too much nicotine, it is just a feeling after a long sleep and will go away very quickly afterwards.
