When you are in the vape community, you are not only vaping but also “making art”. And the most impressive thing in this movement used to express vape art is the coils on the atomizer. The art of winding wire is often called “coil porn”, referring to it is referring to beautiful, complex, sophisticated images, or braided, twisted, staggered lines… of the coil. You will be fascinated whether you are a vaper or a non-vaper as long as you have a unique artistic eye.
Some basic issues
If you are not a vaper yet or you are unfamiliar with the concept of “coils” for vapers, in this article we will provide you with the necessary understanding of this art. Most vaping devices can replace the atomizer with a coil and cotton, you can replace them and use them like a normal vaporizer. With Rebuildable-atomizers (RBAs), you can attach your favorite coils and the battery will heat them so that the liquid can be vaporized. In the photos of the coils you will be shown before a wick is inserted. Vapers will create coils although initially it is a piece of wire with different lengths, they are straight and made of alloy, nichrome or kanthal. The designed coil will be tested with a voltmeter to confirm the appropriate resistance to avoid danger when using.
You can use basic coils or more complex coils.
As the name suggests, a basic coil is simply a piece of wire wrapped around a screw or drill bit of the correct diameter that is attached to the atomizer. There are countless types of wire to choose from. One is a Clapton coil, where a small wire is wrapped around a larger wire, making it look like a guitar string, there is a pull coil that takes a lot of effort to create, or a stovetop coil, which can be twisted in any way you can imagine. Any combination and variation of the above coils with your creativity, as long as it fits when placed in the device you own, I guarantee it will be extremely unique.
