Things to know when buying electronic cigarettes

E-cigarettes are the most popular smoking cessation product today. With more than 400 manufacturers, a variety of features and designs, choosing an e-cigarette for yourself is not easy, especially for new users.

Today, The Vape Club will introduce to everyone five things to pay attention to when choosing to buy an electronic cigarette , hoping that after that you can buy the electronic cigarette set that best suits you.

Before buying an e-cigarette device, learn about it.

This is the first step before buying any electronic product, having basic knowledge before buying will help you avoid confusion when faced with a variety of products. Along with that, learning and knowing the market price of the product can help you calculate in advance the necessary cost to own the most affordable electronic cigarette set.

The hardware of an e-cigarette includes the body, atomizer, battery, and coil.

- The body, also known as the Mod, is the largest part of the electronic cigarette, responsible for controlling all operations of the electronic cigarette such as heating, adjusting power (a feature that only box mods have)... The body has many different shapes and designs, but all are divided into 3 large groups: Box mod, Mech mod and eGo.

- Atomizer: this is the second most important part after the body, containing the coil and essential oil. This is where the essential oil is vaporized and inhaled into the lungs by the user through the drip tip. Atomizers come in two main types: RDA and RTA.

It is difficult to find the right e-cigarette device for yourself.

RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) : This is a small type of atomizer, including only a build base containing the coil, top cap and drip tip. RDA is compact, easy to carry, good for smoke and flavor. However, RDA also has the disadvantage of not having an essential oil chamber, which is quite inconvenient, you have to add more essential oil after a few puffs if you don't want to burn the cotton. RDA is only for vapers who have been vaping for a long time and have experience.

RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer) : The structure is similar to RDA, except that RTA has an additional oil tank located above the build base. RTA is more convenient than RDA in that it can hold about 3-5ml of oil in the tank, giving users a longer smoking time. However, because the RTA's build base is located below the oil tank, every time you want to change the coil, you have to use it all up or pour out the excess oil, which is quite inconvenient when building.

In RTA, there are two sub-types: Clearomizer and Sub ohm tank . Clearomizer is often included in starter kits and uses the manufacturer's pre-made coil.

Sub Ohm tanks can use factory coils or homemade coils, sub ohm tank coils usually have very low resistance.

Battery: Is the main power source of the electronic cigarette, a body can have one or two batteries. Batteries used in electronic cigarettes are usually Lithium ion or Lithium Polymer batteries, size 18650 or 26650.

The coil is located in the burner, which is the part that receives heat energy to vaporize essential oils. There are two types of coils: self-winding coils and manufacturer coils (OCC) .

The situation of the electronic cigarette market

This isn't necessarily a requirement, but it's a good idea to have some knowledge of the e-cigarette market in your area.

The electronic cigarette market today is no longer as scarce as it used to be. New products are released every year, along with the risk of encountering poor quality products, fake clones, and products with no quality assurance.

To avoid this situation, you should carefully research product information before buying. There are many detailed product reviews on YouTube and forums. Just be patient and you can find an introduction to the product you want to learn about. The vaper community also has articles instructing how to distinguish between genuine and fake products. You should research this information before buying.

Not only the body and the atomizer are counterfeited, even the essential oils are at risk. Regular essential oils are mixed with PG, VG, flavorings and nicotine. Reputable manufacturers have production lines, control and quality assurance for essential oils, but with counterfeit essential oils, no one knows what is mixed with them, which can be dangerous for users.

So when buying essential oils, you should find out information first. Most stores allow customers to test essential oils before buying, so if there is a vape shop near where you live, you should go directly to the store to try and choose to buy.

You should choose reputable and prestigious stores like The Vape Club to buy essential oils.

If you suspect you have purchased a clone of essential oil, immediately notify the store where you purchased it, providing photo evidence if necessary, and request an exchange or refund.

Where to buy electronic cigarettes

In Vietnam, The Vape Club is always the top reputable address for you to choose. Here, you can try essential oils, get direct advice from experienced consultants and professional service attitude.

The store also has a team of professional, enthusiastic, attentive technicians and many good after-sales services.

What to note when using vape

Vape machines are also electronic devices, so they need to be carefully cared for and maintained to operate stably for a long time.

With the device itself, you should regularly pay attention to how the device operates to detect problems immediately. If you feel that the device has any problems such as the battery suddenly draining when charging, not displaying accurate parameters such as capacity, ohm number... then immediately take the device to the nearest reputable store for repair. Absolutely do not try to figure it out yourself because it can cause more serious damage to the device or endanger the user.

With devices that do not have a safety mechanism like a mech mod, if you feel the device getting unusually hot while in use, immediately put it down and stay away from the device.

With the burner, especially RTAs with a tank, you should clean it regularly to avoid the previous essential oil mixing with the next essential oil. You should replace the cotton and clean the coil regularly, avoid waiting until the coil is burnt black before replacing it. Because this not only affects the coil, but can also reduce the life of the burner.

When you first buy essential oils, shake them gently to mix the ingredients that settle at the bottom of the bottle. Store essential oils in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets. It is best to have a separate cabinet or box to store essential oils.

Be careful, handling situations when using electronic cigarettes is never redundant.

Common situations and how to handle them

Essential oil leakage is the phenomenon of essential oil leaking out through the air vent or cracks in the glass, this condition can also occur if the wick is filled with too much essential oil. The sign of this is that the essential oil overflows, causing the outside of the burner to become sticky. The essential oil is consumed at a rapid rate without any clear reason, in more serious cases, the essential oil overflows into a puddle below the burner.

The solution to this problem is quite simple, tighten the joints of the burner, close the air holes and place the burner upright when not in use. Check the glass for cracks, if there are any, replace the glass (most RTAs come with a replacement glass).

Burning cotton is when the speed of absorbing essential oil of the cotton is slower than the speed of the user's inhalation, the cotton dries out and burns, creating a terrible taste. Not only that, if the cotton and coil burn, it will create toxic gases. You can learn how to replace it yourself or bring it to the store to be replaced, free of charge for all customers replacing cotton at The Vape Club system.

No Atomizer: The device does not recognize the installed atomizer, usually due to the atomizer not making full contact with the body of the device, the connector is unstable, or the coil wire is broken. You need to check the contacts in the atomizer itself.

Atomizer low (high) : Warning mode when the ohm count of the coil is out of the machine's processing range, or is unsafe to use. You should check the coil again to make sure it is safe.
