Of course, the first and most important step is choosing the seeds. To obtain healthy, ripe tobacco leaves, Black Note uses non-GMO seeds. The seeds must be bred and crossbred a year in advance to ensure the best and healthiest varieties.
Sowing seeds
The quality of tobacco leaves comes not only from good varieties, but also from careful care by the grower. To have a harvest with healthy and flavorful tobacco leaves, Black Note has selected growing areas suitable for the characteristics of each variety, researching care methods so that the plants can develop according to requirements.
Preliminary processing of medicinal leaves
Tobacco leaves are harvested and processed in specialized warehouses after maturity.
The tobacco leaves are processed using various methods depending on their characteristics to remove natural sugars and resins, leaving only the purest tobacco flavor. During this process, the tobacco leaves are closely monitored to avoid any effects that may affect the flavor.
Moisturize, shred and sort
The tobacco leaves are very thin and brittle after processing, so they need to be kept moist in a special chamber to avoid breaking during processing. The leaves are then shredded and sorted based on quality, color and size. Only 50% of the leaves are selected for the next blending process.
Conditioning and incubating
The leaves are moistened and aged to further enhance the tobacco flavor. The shredded leaves are dried and soaked until they reach the required moisture content. The leaves are then aged for a period of time to maximize the flavor and aroma.
Create a mixture
A piece of music is only complete when it is played by many different instruments, and the same goes for tobacco. Tobacco leaves from different places, processed differently, are blended to create a unique blend with a distinctive flavor and personality. And the recipes used in this process are family secrets that have been passed down through generations.
Natural extracts
The harmonious flavor of Black Note is created from the essence of each different tobacco blend.
This essence is extracted through a natural cold brewing process. The tobacco blends are aged for 6 to 8 weeks, the extracted essence will be diluted and have a strong, characteristic tobacco flavor.
The cold extraction process removes the bitterness and astringency, creating an essential oil with a smooth taste and no harshness in the throat. After the cold extraction process is complete, the remaining essence brings only the pure taste of premium tobacco.
Filter impurities
After the extraction process, the essence of each blend is carefully filtered to remove all impurities, leaving only the purest essence. In our blending room, the brewing, extraction, filtration, mixing and testing processes are all supervised by chemical experts to ensure the highest quality products. We are proud to be able to bring customers pure, pure essential oils without any flavorings, food colorings, sweeteners or other chemicals.
Bottling and packaging
At Black Note, we put quality before quantity, and the packaging process is slow and meticulous. We also ensure that the essential oils remain the same quality after leaving the factory. The essential oils are packaged in clear glass bottles to ensure that the flavor is not affected, then stored in a cardboard box to protect them from impacts during shipping. All bottling and packaging is done in the USA.
