5 levels of vaping: from newbie to pro

The world of vaping has expanded over the past few years, with a wide range of options for users. Whether you’re new to the exciting world of vaping or an experienced vaper looking to learn more, there’s bound to be something to keep you hooked. Let’s take a look at the five levels of vaping and what you can expect at each level.

Level 1: Device that looks like a cigarette

The most basic form of e-cigarette is the one that looks like a real cigarette. It is a small, lightweight device that looks exactly like a regular cigarette. Most of them have an LED light at the tip, so it looks like a lit cigarette every time you take a puff. In the early days of the e-cigarette industry, most of the devices looked like this, but it has changed and improved over the years. However, these devices have always had a solid position in the market and are still a good choice for those new to vaping and want something compact and easy to carry.

These cigarette-like models usually have only two basic parts, a rechargeable battery and an attached atomizer . The atomizer is a disposable attachment that is connected to the battery, contains e-liquid and a heating wire, and is heated when the battery is turned on. It creates smoke when the user inhales. This old-fashioned atomizer holds less e-liquid than the new generation of clearomizers , but it is still quite convenient for new vapers to get used to vaping. These cigarette-like models are produced by many different companies, but most of them are only usable for a limited time depending on the quality.

Level 2: Ego and Clearomizer Form

The next step in vaping is the eGo style device. This is still the most popular design to date. Consumers like eGos because they are affordable and last longer than the first type. Plus, they have more options for e-liquid with the included clearomizer. One of the biggest advantages of eGos is that no one will think you are smoking. Because these devices do not look like real cigarettes. They are larger and come in more colors.

Most vapers end up with eGo models. Clearomizers work a lot like Cartomizers, but instead of holding just one type of e-liquid, they can be filled and refilled multiple times. Most Clearomizers have clear plastic or glass bodies so you can see how much e-liquid is left inside so you can refill it quickly when you run out. And instead of tilting it upside down, Clearomizers have a wick system so the e-liquid can be drawn up and vaporized.

When you first switch to an eGo from a Cig a like, you will notice a clear difference. The flavor is fuller and “cleaner” because there are no additional flavors to ruin the taste. You will also notice more vapor being released with each puff.

Level 3: Power customization and rebuildable atomizer

The next level is to use devices with adjustable wattage. The mechanism of these devices is more complicated than the eGo, but still quite easy to use. These advanced devices have more features and options to fine-tune. When you press the buttons on these devices, it will create an electric wave to heat the coil . The battery life of these devices is also longer and more powerful than the old type of batteries. You will have the option to customize the wattage to adjust the wattage until it reaches the temperature or power you want.

Vapers love these personal devices for the extra features they offer. Many of them have a puff counter, an ohm counter so you can see the resistance level, and a button to adjust the battery voltage. Some even have a battery indicator to let you know when the battery needs to be charged.

Personal devices also give you the option of using atomizers that can be fitted with separate coils. These allow you to replace your wicks and coils instead of having to buy a whole new atomizer when you need to. RBAs come in a variety of sizes and styles. Some have a tank for the liquid, while others require you to drip the liquid directly onto the coil before use. It can take some time to figure out which method works best for you, but once you do, your vaping experience will be elevated to a whole new level.

Level 4: Mech mod

When you’re ready to take things to the next level, it’s time to move on to a mech mod . These devices have no circuitry, so when you press the button, it physically hits the battery and atomizer. Most people use an RDA with a mech mod instead of a clearomizer.

Mech mods come in a variety of styles and are much heavier than cigs or eGos. They require a bit more skill to use, but they also have a lot of benefits. Mech mods are durable and allow you to vape at lower resistances.

Level 5: Sub ohm vaping

The final and most satisfying level for vapers is sub ohm vaping. Simply put, this is when you vape with coils that have a resistance lower than 1ohm. When you vape with such a low resistance, you can create extremely large clouds of smoke and extremely clear flavor. However, this is also the riskiest level, you will risk overheating the device, leading to a fire, or even causing the mech mod to explode. You will have to be very careful and know your limits when sub ohm vaping because it is very easy to accidentally exceed the limit. If you really want to try it, avoid using multimeters to measure the resistance index.

Which is right for you?

Of course, only you can decide which level is best for you. If you are new to vaping, then stick with a cig a like or eGo. Once you are familiar with the device and the juice, then you can move on to regular mods, mech mods, or even try sub ohm vaping.
