Disposable Battle: Gcore Rodeo vs B+mor Venus

It is not an exaggeration to say that Disposable or “one-time pod” is dominating the vape market in Vietnam and the world. Many brands have shifted to this segment such as Dinner Lady, Romio,... but the ones that stand out among the countless one-time pod models flooding the market are Rodeo by Gcore and Venus by B+mor. So let’s find out and compare these two products that are making vapers excited.

Gcore Rodeo Disposable

Gcore launched the Rodeo disposable pod model in early fall 2020, when it was the pod model with the most "buffalo" battery and e-juice capacity at that time. Unlike the pod models at that time that were designed in a long cylindrical shape, similar to the "vape pen" from 2014-2015, Rodeo was designed in a square cylindrical shape, creating a more premium and luxurious feel than its colleagues. The outer shell of Rodeo is made of matte plastic, giving a rubber-like grip but still maintaining a sturdy feel. However, the point that makes Rodeo stand out from other pods is not its appearance but its "heart": 950mAh with 6ml of e-juice. 950mAh may not be much for other devices, but for a disposable pod, this can be said to be the biggest number that manufacturers can put into Rodeo's slim body. Comes with 6ml of e-liquid at 5% nicotine level (50mg/ml). Currently, Rodeo has a total of 17 flavors for vapers to freely choose the flavor they like.

B+mor Venus Disposable

Following the resounding success of its predecessor, in early 2021, B+mor launched the Venus pod model. It has a design quite similar to Rodeo, but the body of Venus looks more square and personal. Next is a series of integrated upgrades including a temperature sensor, a vapor sensor (of course), anti-overheating, anti-short circuit to help users feel secure in using it without worrying about device safety. The most outstanding feature that makes Venus a monster in the first half of 2021 is the battery capacity. In a slim body is hidden a battery of up to 1200mAh, with such a huge battery capacity, you don't have to worry about running out of breath after 3-4 days of use. The essential oil tank has a capacity of 6ml 5% nicotine to ensure long-term use. According to the manufacturer's estimate, Venus can be used for 5-7 days, if this is true, it is an extremely impressive number. Venus has a total of 10 different flavors, most notably the diverse and authentic tropical fruit flavors, promising to satisfy even the most demanding people.

So to summarize, what do we have in these two products?

Both are delicious, value for money products and in some ways, quite similar in appearance and taste quality. Here are some similarities:

- Unique square cylinder design.

- Matte plastic layer is non-slip when hands sweat.

- Cool, fresh fruit flavors.

- 6ml essential oil chamber for long-term use.

However, Venus and Rodeo come from 2 different manufacturers, plus they were launched at 2 different times, so there are some differences. The biggest difference is in the battery capacity. With Rodeo 900mAh is not enough to use up 6ml of essential oil, you will smoke very well for the first 3 days, then the flavor will fade when the battery inside runs out. Although there is still essential oil in the combustion chamber, after 4-5 days, the flavor is completely different from when it was first unboxed. Listening to that from the community, Venus has equipped a battery of up to 1200mAh, extending the usage time of the pod to match the amount of juice in the tank, limiting the case where the battery is empty but the juice is still there. However, with advantages, there must also be disadvantages, Venus has a flavor list that is only half that of Rodeo. While Rodeo's 17 flavors can help vapers rotate for several months to test all of them, Venus with 10 flavors is probably not impressive enough. Moreover, although equipped with a 1200mAh battery, Venus's usage time is only 2 days longer than Rodeo's at most, the improvement in smoking time is not significant.

These are our thoughts after getting our hands on the two most popular products on the disposable pod market. Let us know what you think about Rodeo and Venus.
