September handcheck team

Article by Vaping360 Team on Vaping360 - Translator: The Vape Club

These are the vape kits that the Vaping360 team is enjoying this September 2016.

Welcome to Vaping360’s monthly “handcheck”. Each month, the Vaping360 team shares their personal gear. This is not a review, but rather a personal sharing from the vapers in the group about the gear and e- juices they like. After admiring the gear that the vapers have chosen this month, please share your “handcheck” of your favorite gear in the comments section.

My favorite vape setup this month is the Vapur Logic A-R_Y RDA, along with a Nolli drip tip and Hellfire Phantom box mod. This box mod has become my favorite because it is compact and fits well in the hand, and it uses my favorite chipset, the YiHi SX350J v2. The A-R_Y produces great vapor, has great flavor, and doesn't take too long to build a coil .

My favorite coil for the A-R_Y is a Sweet Spot Vapers 0.4mm Titanium single coil, wound eight times around a 2.4mm screwdriver; it has a resistance of around 0.29ohm. I used this coil at 480 degrees Fahrenheit and pushed it to 19.8J. The vapor is very warm and flavorful. This RDA is definitely one of the best RDAs I have used since the NarDA was released.

As for e-liquids, I've been obsessed with D'Nish lately, which is a Danish cherry flavor. D'Nish is the best cherry e-liquid I've ever used, and it's addictive. It's one of the few flavors I've used for a week and still want to use again.

Pod Vape Attack!!! This month, I have been using a few different pod mods/vapes. Pod vapes are tube-shaped devices that are convenient and easy to use, suitable for beginners and those who like a leisurely style. Of the three devices I have used in the past month (Von Erl, Juul and V2 Vertx), the Juul is my favorite. It fits well and gives a great throat hit. I have to say, I am a person with little free time, and the simplicity of this device is a breath of fresh air. Maybe professional vapers will think that the market has taken a step back with these devices, but I absolutely do not think so. High quality and affordable pod vapes will become one of the main devices that lead smokers around the world to vape and help them quit smoking. And I also think, in the future, we will also see a lot of professional vapers returning to using these devices.

As many of you know, I usually use RDAs. Lately I have been experimenting with Griffin, which is one of the first tanks that made the RTA bomb of 2016. Since the Griffin was released, everywhere I go I hear compliments like “Griffin this”, “Griffin that”.

So does it live up to the hype? Yes, one hundred percent. Barring the juice adjustment that can cause the tank to spin around, the Griffin can produce a lot of vapor. Using it with a mech mod , I sometimes forget I’m using an RTA and not an RDA.

As for the SOI Shorty, I originally used it with the Subzero RDA, which is the best flavor combo I've ever used. But I've stopped using it recently after getting a Griffin. A little late, but better late than never.

This month’s e-juices are Steep Pop Deez, Zenith Orion, and FRYD Banana. I’m sticking to the classic flavors, occasionally buying a new one or two. I hope to try more flavors and share them with you next month.

I am going back to RTAs now that they can be used with sub ohm vapes and with a variety of unique coils. I am looking at the Aromamizer RDTA, which one is your favorite?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been using the iJoy Limitless LUX. This dual 26650 box mod has a long battery life. It’s not exactly a small box mod, but for a 26650 box mod, its size is surprising. I also like the wood grain finish of the LUX. It doesn’t have a company logo. Although in this case, the logo might as well be a nod to the iJoy-Limitless split.

The atomizer mounted on top of the LUX is the FreeMaxx Starre Pure. This tank produces a pretty decent flavor and vapor for a top-vented sub ohm tank. The top-vent system makes this tank leak-proof. The FreeMax Starre is easily one of my biggest surprises of 2016.

Finally, the e-liquid I’m using is Shortsshake by Cyberliquids. I like it, but I’m not crazy about it. I just moved and haven’t completely unpacked yet. Most of my e-liquid collection is still in boxes waiting to be opened. This just happened to be in one of the boxes I opened. Hopefully I can find my favorite e-liquid again soon.
